Pasture Boarding Prices for Breeding Stock


1) Foals until weaned	$ no charge
2) Weanlings	$200/mo.(includes halter breaking, handling for vet & farrier)
3) Yearlings	$300/mo (includes lunging, handling for vet & farrier)
4) Two-year-olds	$400/mo (includes saddling/bridling,backing)

Retirement Pasture

Maplewood has a new Retirement Pasture. Qualified horses may retire at our beautiful facility in a spacious twenty acre pasture with a new shelter, daily care and maintenance. Anyone interested can call Julie at 775-742-4615.

Cost: $500 per month.

Groom Service at Home

Includes tacking & untacking, cooling down, medications, etc.

Cost: $300 per month.

Sale Horse Consignment

Including:

four rides per week
stall cleaning

listing on website
advertisements
videos mailed to interested buyers

Cost: $1300/mo. plus 10% of sale price when sold.

Sale Horse Evaluation: $75.

Lessons

Maplewood Stables offers year-round lessons for all ranges of skill, beginning through advanced. Lessons are offered Tuesday through Sunday; the barn is closed on Mondays.

GROUP LESSONS.
For beginners, group lessons typically have 3-4 people in them, and are an hour long. The more advanced classes may have up to 7 learners. They include flat work and jumping, with cavelettis and gymnastics as well.

Cost: $50 per lesson; purchase 10 lessons in advance to get a discount: $450.

SEMI-PRIVATE AND PRIVATE LESSONS.
For those wanting more individual attention, semi-private and private classes are offered as well. Semi-private lessons are offered for two people and Private lessons are available for one-on-one instruction. All lessons run one hour.

Semi-Private lessons: $65 per lesson; 10 lessons prepaid for $600.
Private lessons: $80 per lesson.

RIDE BY TRAINER: $75 each.

Show Expenses

Hauling		$0.85 per mile (minimum $200 plus $100 loading fee)
Day Care		$50/day at show
Day Care (horses not in training)		$100/day at show
Grooming		$25/day at show
Grooming (horses not in training)		$50/day at show

Expense Split. All feed, shavings, tack rooms, feed rooms, cross-ties, turnouts, lodging, plane fares, rental cars, gas, meals, and other expenses incurred by staff are divided equally among customer's horses.

All other grain, supplements and additional services at market price.

PLEASE NOTE: BILLS ARE DUE ON THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH
AND A LATE FEE of 0.15% WILL APPLY AFTER THE TENTH OF THE MONTH.
